Insufficient knowledge of each other and scarce cooperation between gender mechanisms and nongovernmental organisations made us launch a pilot project „Link“ in the second half of 2006. Our objective was to develop effective gender equality mechanisms, especially on municipal level and to establish cooperation with nongovernmental organisations. The project was financed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and funds of Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA)
